The Alabama State University Office of Career Services Center provides the following resources to its students:
- Handshake is an online platform that enables ASU students and alumni to submit resumes electronically to potential employers. It also facilitates job searching for internships, part-time and full-time jobs and provides access to valuable employer information.
- Career Coaching to assist students in developing realistic and innovative career goals.
- Job Search Skills Development involves providing guidance in crafting effective resumes and cover letters and preparing for interviews.
- Mock interviewing to help students prepare for graduate/professional school interviews, internships, and full-time career opportunities.
- Career Resources include providing information on graduate and professional schools, job opportunities in various sectors, major corporations, salary expectations, and job-seeking guides to maximize your career prospects.
