Our faculty members are National Certified Rehabilitation Counselors, Certified Life Care Planners, Licensed Professional Counselors and Board Certified-TeleMental Health Providers. They are active at the local, state and national levels. Their research interests include sickle cell disease, aging and adult concerns, the long-term effects of COVID-19, prison reform, mental health concerns and workplace bullying.

Learn by doing:
Students complete a 100-hour practicum and a 600-hour internship in an approved rehabilitation setting. These clinical experiences afford opportunities for you to practice the knowledge gained in the classroom and to solidify your identity as a professional rehabilitation counselor. These experiences also provide opportunities to sharpen areas of interest, network with rehabilitation counseling professionals and connect with lifelong mentors.
