Admissions and Application

Who can apply to the MBA program at ASU?
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Students with non-business majors may still apply and are admitted through alternate pathways.
Is the GMAT or GRE required?
Applicants should check with the MBA Admissions Office for updated waiver policies.
What materials are required for admission?
A completed application includes official transcripts, a resume, a statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation. International applicants must also provide proof of English proficiency.
When can I start the program, and what are the deadlines?

Curriculum and Program Structure

How many credit hours are required for the MBA?
The program requires 30 credit hours.
What is the breakdown of courses?
Students complete 21 credit hours of core courses (finance, marketing, accounting, management, analytics, and strategy) plus 9 credit hours of electives in a chosen concentration.
How long does it take to finish the program?
The online MBA is designed for completion in as little as one year, depending on course load.
Is the MBA offered fully online?
Yes. ASU’s MBA is 100% online, providing flexibility for working professionals.

Concentrations and Tracks

What specialization tracks are available?

Students may choose one of three tracks:

  • General Business (broad coverage across multiple disciplines)
  • Project Management (emphasis on leadership, operations, and analytics)
  • Data Analytics
Can I take electives from multiple tracks?
Students select one track to complete their elective courses.

Costs and Financial Aid

What is the tuition for the MBA program?
Tuition follows ASU’s graduate tuition and fee schedule. (Students should check the ASU website for the most current rates.)
Are assistantships or scholarships available?
Yes. Graduate assistantships, scholarships, and limited tuition support are available to qualified students.
Can I use veteran benefits (e.g. GI Bill)?
