Ms. LaTonya Kennedy is a graduate of Troy State University in Montgomery, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She brings more than 20 years of experience as a financial professional in the banking and mortgage industry.
Ms. Kennedy transitioned from the financial industry into higher education in 2010 and has since served in the areas of Institutional Effectiveness and Institutional Research. In her current role as an Institutional Research Analyst, she supports institutional decision-making through comprehensive data collection and analysis. Her responsibilities include responding to external and internal data requests for academic and non-academic support units, state/federal agencies, and other stakeholders.
Ms. Kennedy serves as the Qualtrics survey software administrator, providing system oversight, creating and designing surveys, facilitating survey training sessions, assigning survey access, and offering ongoing administrative support to the campus community. Her responsibilities also include the preparation of annual office publications, assessment reports, quarterly/annual Title III reports, and other special projects. She manages all updates to the Institutional Research website and maintains the department’s project management system.
