CSMT Annual Research Symposium
Annual Research Symposium provides a platform for undergraduate, graduate and research scholars to share their research experience to broader audience. The symposium is a better opportunity for researchers to present their research studies and inspiring the other fellow students to inculcate scientific aptitude. It also provides students with information and opportunities in the field of STEM in Alabama State University as well as other universities in Alabama. The symposium provides forum for students, faculty and community to discuss the cutting edge research topics and their broader impact.
Call for Papers
The 2019 Symposium will be on March 13-14, 2019 in the campus of Alabama State University at the Student Center Theater. The College of Science, Mathematics, Technology and Engineering is now accepting abstracts for presentations and posters in the field of Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Forensic Sciences, Computer Science, Health Sciences, Physical Sciences and Mathematics.

Instructions for Submitting Abstracts
The abstract should be a brief description (250 words) of the research activity to be presented. Abstract should include following components: introduction, objectives, the description of the methods used, the results obtained, and a conclusion with inclusion of its significance.
Please note the following:
- Abstracts must be submitted online.
- No presentations will be accepted without an abstract.
- The presentations will take place on March 13-14 (Wed-Thurs) 2019. Talks will be scheduled over the two days, and a mid-day poster session will be held on Thursday. Poster size: 4' by 4'. Oral presentations: 15-minute (15 slides max) and 5-minute discussion and questions.
