Note: I understand that I cannot have taken any graduate courses required for completion of the Alternative A program prior to my being unconditionally admitted to the program. Taking any graduate courses prior to being admitted makes me ineligible for admission to the Alternative A program. I have enclosed a copy of either my ETS Praxis II Score Report or 32x19 or 4x12.

 

Transition Points to Remember

Unconditional Admission to Alternative A program requirements

  • Passing Score on APTT Part I
  • Passing Score on Praxis II or Completion of 32/19 or 4x12

Remember a satisfactory Praxis II score (in appropriate content area) must be met before student teaching.

  • Application for Unconditional Admission (see academic advisor)
  • Application for Candidacy- eligible after 12 hours (see academic advisor)
  • Application for Intent to Complete Student Teaching (see academic advisor)
  • Application for Graduate Comprehensive Exams- eligible after 21 hours (see academic advisor and academic calendar for due dates)
  • Application for Graduation- eligible during the semester of program completion (see academic advisor and calendar for due dates)
