  • Bachelor of Arts in Music.

    Earning a B.A. in music degree will provide you with the unique knowledge and skills to become a professional musician or continue your education in a graduate program.

  • Bachelor of Music Education (Instrumental Emphasis).

    Our Bachelor of Music degree with an instrumental emphasis will prepare you to teach keyboard, woodwind, brasswind and percussion instruments, as well as marching band techniques.

  • Bachelor of Music Education (Vocal/Choral Emphasis).

    Our Bachelor of Music Education with vocal and choral emphasis will help you become a skilled and knowledgeable teacher in K–12 settings focused on voice techniques.

Our music education degree program boasts a 100% job placement rate for our graduates.

Many of our music degree graduates continue their education in graduate programs at prestigious institutions like Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment opportunities for music directors and composers are projected to grow 6% over the next decade, about as fast as average for other occupational fields. Musicians and singers will see even better growth, at 11% over the same amount of time.

For Bachelor of Music Education degree graduates, the BLS predicts employment growth between 7% and 8%, depending on which grades you teach.
